Ango 2019 Programs

“The Path Home: Re-Discovering Your Source”

From September-December 2019, the Eon Zen Sangha will gather in an intensified program of practice, teaching, service and community activities. The 90-day period honors the traditional Zen Ango, or “Peaceful Dwelling,” time, when the community deepens its practice and commitment.

All interested Zen practitioners, old and new, local and remote, are invited to join this transformative practice period, as your schedule allows. In practice, study and community, we drop our false identifications, see through the shallow conditionings of our society, and support ourselves in living an embodied life in truth and love.

Through this period, Monday evening Dharma talks will explore the Ten Ox-herding Pictures, a Zen model of awakening to True Self, our everpresent home.

Ango Membership Package

Through the end of September, we are offering a special “Ango Member” package: the discounted monthly membership rate of $33 covers fees for all regular weekly events, access to sangha and study groups, remote link to sittings and access to recorded dharma talks, and provides discounts on all retreats.

The poet Johann Wolfgang von Goethe wrote: “At the moment of commitment the entire universe conspires to assist you.”

See details on our Ango programs and sign up below. We look forward to practicing with you this season!
